Meditation has truly many benefits, but sometimes some of us still find it hard to fully grasp its meaning and to start a Meditation practice. Many people consider this practice to be extremely difficult, so they give up even before to start. So when someone tells me that they find too difficult to sit in silence, as they become to restless, I always suggest: the power of Art Meditation.

Making Art, painting, drawing, sculpting, or dancing, writing, etc…. are all different ways to access a meditative state, and therefore to ‘reconnect’ with ourselves.

Creating art is a type of meditation, an active training of the mind that increase awareness and emphasizes acceptance of feelings and thoughts without judgment and relaxation of body and mind.’

All of us have the possibilities to create beautiful artworks, liberating our trapped emotions and releasing our feelings through the ‘creative inner self’. Creativity allow us to communicate while still in silence; through Art we can achieve freedom and true self-expression.

Creating art, dedicating your mind, body and soul to the creation of something, gives access to a meditative state, where our state of mind completely change and find peace. That’s the reason why Art, Music and Dancing are used many time as Therapy.

Not just as a way to express freely our feelings and emotions, therefore to liberate ourselves, but also as a way to heal ourselves, to feel better. It can give us the strength and the courage to reconnect with our inner space, as we reach a new state of consciousness where our monkey mind find peace and for once can keep quite.

During my Art Meditation classesRelaxation and Meditation play a very important role. You will be able to relax through guided visualisation, which will stimulate a shift in your brainwaves, relaxing your body and calming your mind, so that you will be ready to create in total freedom.

Art is a very powerful form of expression, a way to communicate through our inner self, whilst still in silence.

After training as a Fine Artist and working for many years in the Art industry and in Education I finally decided to combine my two passions: Art & Meditation.

My Art Meditation Classes will guide you through a Meditative state, while using different medias and enjoying the creative process. They are open to everyone and are suitable to all levels…  they will guide you into the discovery of your own true path, through your Body, your Mind and your Creative Soul.

My work and my way of being are generally inspired by anything wich involve NatureAwarenessExperience and Change. As a Fine Artist, I love to work with different medias, from painting, to printing…  Art is one of the greatest form of expression, that fulfil Oneself, and nurture your Soul.

Art for me is a pure methodical moment of joy of being truthful to your deepest self, appreciating that special connection, that we tend to lose and neglect most of the time.
